Dear friends!
The 7- th International annual Balloon Meet took place in Velikie Luki in the year of 2002. In the framework of this meeting the following sporting events were held:
The 1-st Hot Air Balloon Cup of Russia
The 6-th Cup of Prominent Russian Aeronauts.
More than 27 balloon teams from different countries participated in the events.

No city or region has contributed more in the development of Ballooning in Russia than Velikie Luki. First of all beautiful and ecologically clean environment of our region creates perfect flying conditions. Exceptional hospitality of our citizens, unspoiled by excess attention of media, TV and interesting guests, gives to the region additional charm.
